Day 18: Flightless

Inktober 2026 · Day 18 · Prompt: Flightless

Ink and marker drawing on grid paper: a wide-eyed penguin with an orange beak gazes up at a thought bubble, in which a penguin flies a green-and-white propeller plane through a blue sky past white clouds, trailing red streamers. Lettered Inktober Day 18 and “Flightless.”

What I learned

The small bits are challenging. I wonder if next try I should make the dream sequence BIGGER so it’s obvious the penguin is flying a plane.
